Follow the Chicago skyline north and it's impossible to miss the asynchronous charm of the Edgewater Beach Apartments or "the pink building" at Bryn Mawr Avenue. What once served as a glamorous resort area found new purpose as apartment homes over time. All the while, the pink building stood sentinel over Lake Michigan, signifying a northern gate to the city. Though the pink may have faded a bit over time, it still creates a gorgeous contrast to the sand, water, and sky around it. It's this confluence of colors that inspired the Edgewater Capsule Collection, including this and three other styles, all crafted from custom-designed acetate in collaboration with Mazzucchelli.
